European Baccalaureate Cycle
The European Baccalaureate comprises the last two years of secondary education (S6 and S7) in the European Schools.
THE PROGRAMME IS COMPOSED OF
- a series of compulsory subjects,
- a choice of options (4 p./week) and
complementary subjects (2 p./week). - a total of min. 31 periods and max. 35 periods.
LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION
All courses are given in L1 except for the following courses which are given in L2: Geography / History / Ethics or Religion.

- Only one choice per option can be chosen.
- 1 option can be dropped if the total of periods reached is 31.
- STS can be dropped if at least one science is chosen and 31 periods are reached.
- You need approval from the Deputy Head to go over 35 periods.
